Grand Tourer Duffel | Wood & Faulk
Grand Tourer duffel takes cues from vintage military bags, when over-constructing was done to endure the toughest conditions. We’ve made ours with ultra strong #8 canvas, and doubled up in places where it counts. This US milled and finished canvas is a full 24oz weight and it has an amazing texture and durable feel to it. High strength Oregon made webbing is sewn into the body to provide the sturdiest anchor points for the shoulder strap and handles. This is likely the last duffel you will ever purchase.
Dimensions: 21in wide, 11in tall, 9in deep
Materials: Made with the most durable #8 waxed canvas, luxurious and tough leather from SB Foot Tanning Co, solid brass tumbled hardware and stout YKK zippers. Our small production runs ensure excellent quality with a rugged warranty to match.
We hate to think about it, but sometimes problems occur with our products. We try to make everything perfect and usually over-built, however if something was missed, we want to make sure it's corrected. Wood&Faulk products are built on the premise that they'll last a LONG TIME. Probably a poor business model if we want you to buy more things to replace your old things, but we don't care. We want your items to become part of your permanent style.
Should a problem occur due to our manufacturing, please let us know. We'll fix it.
WAXED CANVAS CARE
The waxed cotton canvas we use has some special care instructions. Never machine wash or dry clean. Never use soap or chemicals. Usually the best way to clean is with a brush or a water dampened towel. It's a pretty low maintenance product, and should be treated as such. If you do need a re-wax on areas of heavy use, we do sell Martexin Original Wax in small tins .
The beauty of leather is that it will age and change over time to the way you use it. Certain uses will age it faster... like exposure to water. Try to keep your leather as dry as possible, but when it happens, just make sure to let your item air-dry overnight. You can apply saddle soap or cleaning and protection, or we recommend conditioners from , or from our friends at Otter Wax.
