Sidecar Bag | Wood & Faulk
A supremely useful and stylish bag made for carrying all of your daily essentials. The name sidecar speaks to its function and form… think about the sidecar on a ’64 Vespa Gran Sport filled with bread, cheese and wine – great looking, reliable, handy, interesting, and attractive. It’s not flashy, but people are certainly going to ask you where you found such a gem.
The shape is a familiar reference to our Carpenter Bag, using the same style frame opening, leather bottom and closure system, but on a smaller scale. Comfortable folded handles and a shoulder strap is included with each one. One interior pocket and one large exterior pocket gives you immediate accessibility to your small goods.
Perfect for most daily items, you can load it up substantially without it feeling bulky. It's light and an easy everyday carry. Made in Portland, Oregon.
Dimensions: 12 in wide x 10 in tall (without handles) x 6 in deep. Frame opens to 11.75 in wide x 5.75 in deep.
Materials: Water repellant cotton canvas, American tanned leather and matte nickel hardware.
We hate to think about it, but sometimes problems occur with our products. We try to make everything perfect and usually over-built, however if something was missed, we want to make sure it's corrected. Wood&Faulk products are built on the premise that they'll last a LONG TIME. Probably a poor business model if we want you to buy more things to replace your old things, but we don't care. We want your items to become part of your permanent style.
Should a problem occur due to our manufacturing, please let us know. We'll fix it.
WAXED CANVAS CARE
The waxed cotton canvas we use has some special care instructions. Never machine wash or dry clean. Never use soap or chemicals. Usually the best way to clean is with a brush or a water dampened towel. It's a pretty low maintenance product, and should be treated as such. If you do need a re-wax on areas of heavy use, we do sell Martexin Original Wax in small tins .
The beauty of leather is that it will age and change over time to the way you use it. Certain uses will age it faster... like exposure to water. Try to keep your leather as dry as possible, but when it happens, just make sure to let your item air-dry overnight. You can apply saddle soap or cleaning and protection, or we recommend conditioners from , or from our friends at Otter Wax.
