Photographer Kat Swansey’s eye, it seems, has remained on the highway – and peering through the viewfinder – since the first volume of Texas Textures was published in 2022. Her sophomore hardcover photo-book boasts over 300 new images, shot in a variety of rural and abandoned Texas locales, accompanied by fresh stories about her work, travels, family, and propensity for what she calls “occasional mischief.”

Where are your products made?
Our brands are curated mainly across the US. Some products are made overseas, but the vast majority are small batch, American made makers trying to make a living right here in the USA. Our Ballad of the Bird Dog products are mostly made in the USA, and our patch hats, shirts and leather goods are crafted right here in Historic Downtown Brenham.
