Been wet shaving for about a year after many years of electric dry shaving due to bad rash and razor burn from multi blade cartridge razors . This Merkur was my first try for double edge safety razor after about 35 years .
So my pick was perfect and the resulting shave is awesome . No irritation . I've tried many others and have quite the collection now of many razors costing 10 times more . This is one of the best I have . A smooth comfortable shave is always achieved . To me there is no need for a adjustable razor that gives more blade exposure . The engineering has been done for the perfect shave for any type with fabulous results . It's a keeper and a user . I highly recommend to all , beginner or old pro .
